Meet Jon Joseph
Jon Joseph was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Mr. Joseph attended the University of Texas at El Paso and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with honors and a Minor in Legal Reasoning. Mr. Joseph is a proud alumnus of the Law School Preparation Institute (LSPI) at The University of Texas at El Paso.
After college, Mr. Joseph attended the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law, where he was part of the Student Bar Association and served as the Parliamentarian. He also participated in a study abroad program with American University in Washington, D.C., held in The Hague, Netherlands, focusing on International Criminal Law.
Mr. Joseph has tried numerous criminal and civil cases to verdict. Mr. Joseph has previously handled cases including felony and misdemeanor criminal defense, dram shop actions, personal injury and insurance defense, trucking accidents, and insurance coverage issues involving insolvent insurers and first party insurance litigation. Mr. Joseph has previously represented individuals, insurance companies, policyholders, and businesses ranging from sole proprietorships to large corporations. He has experience litigating cases in counties such as El Paso County, Ector County, Dallas County, Collin County, Tarrant County, Harris County, and Webb County.
Mr. Joseph has also had the honor of serving as a magistrate judge for El Paso County. In his personal life, Mr. Joseph finds great enjoyment in outdoor activities such as hiking, jogging, skiing during the winter months, and traveling to new destinations. Additionally, he treasures the moments spent with his beloved French Bulldog, Butters.
